Hello, hello!

Thanks to everyone who have previously attended the watercolor, lettering, digitizing & doodling workshops! 🙂

People have been asking about other workshops aside from Watercolor & Brush Lettering lately so this month, we tried (re)introducing some workshop formats.  *I honestly want to share some life story here or some fun & funny lines since as this is a personal blog after all but just for today, I won’t stall you from reading about the workshops. :)*

Digitize your Lettering Workshop

Digitizing Workshop
(June 14, Fully Booked BGC, 1-5pm)
If you’re looking for an opportunity to convert and manipulate your hand-lettered and hand drawn doodles, this is the class for you.  Why digitize?  Digitizing is meant for any design that needs to be prepared for printing.  Wouldn’t it be awesome if you had a copy of your hand-lettered work which you can stretch infinitely without pixelating?  Wouldn’t be nice if you could finally incorporate your watercolor backgrounds into your digital works?

I’m no longer working on invites but I’ll be sharing with you how these invites were made from digitized hand drawn works:
Floral Wedding Invites

The digitizing class will be covering the following topics:
1. Introduction to Digitizing
2. 4 Ways of Digitizing with Adobe Photoshop / Adobe Illustrator
3. Digitizing Exercises
4. Guided Project-Making

Participants are required to bring their own fully charged Windows / Mac laptops with the following programs installed:
1. Adobe Photoshop
2. Adobe Illustrator

No prior knowledge of both softwares is required.  For those who are having qualms about dabbling with Illustrator, knowledge of Microsoft Powerpoint is already a good starting point.  To make the most out of the workshop, although not reaquired, participants are also encourage to bring elements / pre-scanned elements (e.g. watercolor backgrounds, hand-lettered work) or any digital project they’d like to work on.

Workshop Fee: Php 3,500.00

Below are sets of baby shower & wedding invites that made use of hand-painted backgrounds and digitized handwritten text:

I guess, this workshop is closest to my heart since the Googly Gooey elements and dialogues are all hand drawn, hand-lettered & digitized as well.

See you in one of the classes and I guess, save for the actual blogging, taking photos, some silly dancing & singing (in the bathroom), this is pretty much all the stuff that I do! 🙂

Sign up for one of the classes by filling up this form.  Please note that for you to be able to fully claim your slot, you have to be able to make a deposit within three working days upon receiving the reservation procedure through e-mail.  I will also be contacting you through SMS.

P.S. To those who are interested in attending a workshop in Cebu &/or Singapore, kindly fill up the form so we can contact you once we have the final details. 🙂

I really need to learn to do this. I have so much art work, but I have no idea how to make it pretty and get it online to look nice. I just want to use my art too.
