Hello hello! 🙂
Ponggo & I are excited to announce that we will be having a Singapore Watercolor Lettering Workshops session this August at The Untitled Space. 😀 So, to our readers based in Singapore, we would love to see you soon. As usual, we will be having our workshops here in Metro Manila this July. Here’s a rundown of all our Watercolor & Lettering schedules:

July 25 – Hey Kessy, Esteban Abada Avenue, Katipunan Area, 1-5pm

We changed a few workshop exercises here and there so we want to roll this one out really soon!

Type Lab Manila on July 4 & 5 – I’m so nervous & excited to be a part of this together with typographers I respect who are known for their unique styles:
Abbey Sy
Jelvin Base
Patrick Cabral
Kay Aranzanso
June Digan
John Ed de Vera
Fozzy Dayrit

INK on Paper Exhibit – This is an exhibit by the group of local children’s book illustrators aptly dubbed as Ilustrador ng Kabataan (INK). The exhibit will run until June 30. Well, the reason why I’m promoting this is not because I’m part of this. Haha. I must say, the group exhibit is always an eye opener for me in terms of how I can possibly improve my style & technique. Honestly speaking, I’m humbled every single time we have events like this. We have so many talented, multi-awarded local artists. When you get to meet them in person, they’re an unassuming bunch oozing with awesomeness. 😉 If you stalk them enough, you’re bound to find out that their names are the ones that appear on children’s books sold at our bookstores. 😉 *Sigh* I’m pretty sure they too will inspire and enrich your creative journey. 😀
Oh, they’re also selling framed artworks as well as postcards! For more photos of the events, check out INK’s Facebook & Instagram pages or check out the INK website and this INK portrait session blog post. 🙂
Here’s a map to the Prism gallery. Both poster & map were illustrated by none other than Robert Alejandro–yes, that same artist behind Papemelroti. 🙂
So, what are you waiting for? The exhibit will run until June 30 and Prism Gallery is open from Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
