knowing when to stop revising your work

I was recently asked by someone, “When do you know that your work is done?” Well, I really wanted to say “Umm…When the time’s up?”  I usually stop when I know I’ve given it my all and I know there’s not much I can do.  When I start obsessing & revising only to find out I need to go back to square one, I say, “That’s it! I’m done here”.  Sometimes, we just need to step back to give more time to see our work in a new light and finally convince ourselves that it’s better than the other versions we’ve produced, right?

Speaking of taking a break from the usual routine, here’s the first ever craft get-together by The Googly Gooeys: The Inky Doodles Workshop.  I’m looking forward to seeing you guys on the 13th of September at the Hey Kessy Studio for a colorful & inky afternoon!
