Signs That You Need a Vacation
I’ve been feeling sick for a while now. For a time, I blamed it on the ever changing weather. I had to absent myself from work thrice already in the past two weeks and had to pass up on family gatherings and events. After consuming x colorful tablets which were supposedly made for colds, flu and some rust-tasting ones (i.e. iron supplements), I still wasn’t feeling good. Ponggo (and the rest of my family) started to worry if I had some disease. So I had myself checked.
According to my blood test (and I’m hating the fact that I have a bruise on my right arm), I’m not sick. The people at the ER told me that I didn’t have a fever! But I was (and still am) feeling weak. I can’t survive a day without taking in a couple of medicines. This must already be psychosomatic! I must be in dire need of a vacation (or exercise/sleep/career change). Hehe. Hence this post: Signs That You Need a Vacation!
I guess, in the end, (I hate the fact that I always use “I guess” and “in the end” when I conclude blog posts ) I just need to learn how to rest. I get frantic when I have nothing to do. I get equally panicky when I still have pending work. I don’t know when I will ever understand that work will always be there and that whatever I do to deplete it, it will always manage to multiply by itself! So, how have you been lately?
P.S. I’m thinking of coming up with free downloadable iphone wallpapers. Any suggestions?
